The “Offshore Technology Conference” (OTC) is internationally known as the World’s biggest offshore energy event and is attended by international companies from all over the World.

For more than 50 years, the exhibition is held in Houston, Texas, in the month of May, and brings together the main players and suppliers of the market. And surely Belga Marine had to participate in this event that is so important for our sector.

For the second time in a row, Belga Marine is being represented at OTC by our General Manager, Denis Morais.

“OTC is definitely a great opportunity to meet with partners and customers, strengthen relationships and get market feedback. With no exception, all reported new projects, investments, and a positive market outlook. We revisited existing partners such as EPIC, Cobham, OceanVisuals, and we had the opportunity to meet our newest partner, Arnlea (Paul Goonan). And returned home with new potential partnerships in our luggage, which is very exciting”, says Denis Morais, Managing Director of Belga Marine.

Another highlight of the OTC trip was M&O Networking Nights, an event that takes place during OTC every year and is organized by M&O Partners – a multidisciplinary professional services company that provides sales development, strategic and operational services to the maritime and energy industries in Brazil, Norway, USA and Singapore.

As a sponsor of the event, Belga Marine gained exposure and we got a unique opportunity to network with industry peers, promoting the solutions of our suppliers and build new professional connections. With about 300 international attendees from different segments of the industry, the event exceeded our expectations and will certainly bring new business opportunities.

OTC is coming to Brazil in 2023

In 2023, OTC Brasil will be taking place in Rio de Janeiro, from October 24^th to 26^th at EXPOMAG. And Belga Marine will be attending as a co-exhibitor at the M&O booth together with a selected number of other innovative suppliers to the offshore industry. We are looking forward to another great event by OTC in Brazil together with our employees, customers, and partners.

Há mais de 50 anos, a feira acontece em Houston, no Texas, no mês de maio, e reúne os principais players e fornecedores do mercado. E com certeza, não poderíamos ficar de fora, a Belga Marine tinha que participar desse evento tão importante para o nosso setor.

Outro destaque da viagem da OTC foi o M&O Networking Nights, evento que acontece anualmente durante a OTC e é organizado pela M&O Partners – empresa multidisciplinar de serviços profissionais que fornece desenvolvimento de vendas, serviços estratégicos e operacionais para os setores marítimo e de energia no Brasil, Noruega, EUA e Singapura.

Como patrocinadora do evento, a Belga Marine ganhou exposição e tivemos uma oportunidade única de fazer networking com colegas do setor, promover as soluções de nossos fornecedores e construir novas conexões profissionais. Com cerca de 300 participantes internacionais de diversos segmentos da indústria, o evento superou nossas expectativas e certamente trará novas oportunidades de negócios.

OTC chega ao Brasil em 2023

Em 2023, a OTC Brasil acontecerá no Rio de Janeiro, de 24 a 26 de outubro na EXPOMAG. E a Belga Marine estará presente como co-expositora no estande da M&O juntamente com um número selecionado de outros fornecedores inovadores para a indústria offshore. Estamos ansiosos para mais um grande evento da OTC no Brasil junto com nossos colaboradores, clientes e parceiros.
