OUR JOURNEY
-
1981
BELGA MARINE
Since 1981, we’ve been providing reliable repair services for communication and navigation equipment on board vessels.
We later expanded our capabilities to include on-board inspections and certifications, becoming a trusted provider for GMDSS station surveys, Helideck inspections, and EPTA, M, and C inspections.
Our dedication to excellence and compliance with international standards has been a cornerstone of our work since the beginning. -
2005
ULSTEIN BELGA MARINE
In 2005, Belga Marine was acquired by the Ulstein Group, marking a turning point in our operations.
With this new phase, our services evolved to focus on the commissioning and support of Ulstein’s own systems, including IAS (Integrated Automation System), UCOM (Ulstein Communication System), and UBAS (Ulstein Bridge Alarm System).
This shift brought a more integrated and specialized approach to serving vessels equipped with Ulstein technology. -
2018
IM GROUP
The acquisition by IM Group in 2018 reinforced our Maritime Digitalization strategy to enable intelligent digital integration and streamline daily operations for our customers by seamlessly connecting systems and data across platforms. By partnering with our sister company M&O, we align complementary capabilities to unlock synergies and create lasting value for both sides. -
